Purchase $10 or more worth of items from her store, say BLOG BLOG in the note to seller, and you can select:

TWO free 4.25×5.5 cards OR

TWO free sets of minis OR

A set of minis AND a 4.25×5.5 card

The free cards can be any of the ones listed in her store AND feel free to check out her sold items to see if there is anything there you’d like.  If you really want a free card that is in the style of one of the 4×4 cards, just let her know and she will tell you if she can create a similar card in the larger size (with a regular envelope).

For example, you might purchase the Knitters are Sexy and want your free card to be Don’t Play Koi with Me (revamped to be in a 4.25×5.5 size).

If you like any of the minis (including the Christmas minis) that are currently listed with envelopes, just send mom a note and she’ll confirm that she can make you a set of ten as your free item without envelopes. The envelopes can be added at .50 cents each (yeah, that is what they cost mom to buy them - she’s looking for a better way to purchse them. Auntie Carmen might be able to help her with that in the new year).

You can participate in this sale even if you are not a big commenter on mom’s blog.  Even if you are a lurker!  Just be sure to include the phrase BLOG BLOG in the note to seller along with what you would like for your free gift.

Mom will ask that you be understanding that the free card might vary somewhat from what is pictured as she will be making some of them as she goes. She can’t break up the sets already listed for sale as that would defeat the purpose of having stocked up her store this month.  But don’t worry, the card will be beautiful and wonderful and monkey-liscious.

Is there something special you would like made that maybe you’ve seen her do before - use the custom request form on her shop to ask about what you are wanting.  Even if that order is completed after the sale, you’ll still be eligible for the free items.

And please leave comments here if you have any questions or anything you think she should clarify.  She is new to this still and figuring out how to make it all streamlined.  Also, she has been feeding me on and off throughout this post which can be slightly distracting to do while typing. She said something else about us having been up since 3:30am, but I pointed out is is now after 7am so she should be happy she got such an early start to the day!

I made it to my first group class at my gym here in town. They have these packaged group classes with set colours and names - Group Step, Centergy, Group Power, etc… Tonight I made it to Centergy - a combo of power yoga and pilates.  AWESOME!  Oh, it was so good! This is my first yoga since having Malcolm and parts of my body were really REALLY needing the realignment.

But now I need to go zonk out on the couch for a bit!  Tomorrow I might try Group Power (weights and cardio).  And later this week I’m trying one called ZUMBA that is a combo of dance moves.  Should be rather hilarious, I think.

And everyone - thanks so much for the input on the card-night question.  I’m making up a flier (started it today) and am going to circulate it to all my friends this week.  I hope I get a few bookings to finance some more craft things I am wanting.  I’m also going to offer a blog-reader special on my etsy site.  So if you are interested in ordering some cards, please watch for my friends and family sale in the next few days.  I’ll post it here.

I want to market this tonight, so I need your feedback asap!

I’m looking to start offering a card night where I’ll go to someone’s house and they can have friends over to make cards. I’ll bring all the supplies and three different cards as options.  Jim and I figured out something where “if you have more than 8 people attending, the hostess is free”.

So the question, what is a good per person price for a card making night like this?  The local craft store does little workshops like this for $15 pp.  I want to market it as a slightly more upscale event, in a home, with a good group of ladies (and not so much the scrapbooking vibe).  But I think I either match the craft store price or go slightly lower.

Malcolm came to work with me today. It has ended up that they need me through to next monday, so today Malcolm made the trek into the uni and hung out with the admin while I taught class. It was super cute and there are pictures as well.

I just realised I’m too tired to type out any more of this post right now.  All in all, as a dry run of what it would be like to be working all of a sudden… whooo, I’m thinking this is TOO HARD!  But there were crowds around the beeby boy to admire his cuteness

I am teaching tomorrow!

The PTB gave me a call yesterday and asked if I could cover a week of classes for a prof who had a sudden death in the family (not the cool part of this story - it is strange being so excited based on something that started out so poorly).

But - I am so excited to go in tomorrow! I’m teaching two classes tomorrow morning!! Whoohoo!

Now, if you’ll excuse me I have prep to do.

I have more to type, but it is 11:53pm and I need to go to bed.  Been crafting for a few days.  On a side note, I really REALLY need a Man stamp so I can do more gay boy stuff.  Just a regular dude.  Or a stick man.  Anything like that!!

I got a new ‘do today, and it is very nifty!  I went darker at the bottom level and my bangs, and I now have brown with blonde and red patches throughout.

Malcolm now puts his hand on the mouse when we’re sitting together at the computer.  He can use the touch pad like crazy - for example he just somehow opened a new window as I was typing that.

Malcolm took a whole two 30 minute naps today.  Yep.  My son doesn’t believe in naps. Naps are for WEAK babies!

ANd I have a feeling he is going to just skip crawling and go right to walking.  Of course, neither too soon despite people asking Jim and I if he were walking yet.  At five months…

Good job America.  And now I hope hope hope that people can settle down - that the hateful comments can slow down (I’m on a few boards where there were some horrible racist things posted), that I can stop fearing that Obama will forever need glass around him, and that AIDS treatments/programs can be renewed in those countries that need it the most.

I hope to have a gift granted on Prop 8 by the time I wake up in the morning… *sigh*
